NYPD Officers Tyrane Isaac and David Afanador are under criminal investigation after allegedly beating and pistol-whipping an unarmed teen in Brooklyn, as seen in the brutal video below. Kahreem Tribble, 16, had his hands up at the time of the attack.
The two officers were pursuing Tribble after he allegedly dropped a bag of weed and began running at 1311 St. John’s Place in Crown Heights. When the clip begins, Tribble gives up the chase, turning to face Isaac, and Isaac gives him a right hook to the head. Tribble puts his hands in the air, then Afandor arrives, gun drawn, and smacks him in the face with it. By this point, the teen is slumped over against a wall, but Isaac throws another punch just in case. Officer Christopher Mastoros then enters the frame, but does nothing to stop the wanton violence.
According to DNAinfo, which published the video, Tribble was left with cracked teeth and bruises. Afanador was suspended from his position without pay, and Isaac was stripped of his badge and his gun and placed on modified duty. The men, both nine-year veterans, are under investigation from the NYPD’s internal affairs bureau and the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office. Each has two previous cases against him claiming false arrest or excessive use of force, DNAinfo reports.
Wow really now they just beatin up young black men just for the hell of it! Something must be done to end this nation wide police brutality and murder. Too many incidences! Too many! It seems like the police have declared war on our communities whether we are in the wrong or not! Feels like it is their goals to take us out, pluck us off the map by murder, intimidation, incarceration. They are trying to eliminate our black men…our black families by brokenness and grief. This is not a conspiracy theory! Take a look around of all the deaths…of all the beating and mishandlings of our people…of all the broken homes due to incarceration and generations of incarcerations just and unjust. It’s a definite HIT on the black community. For all my scandal watchers they done went all B613 on our community. My question is what CAN be done? How can we fight back?:

Yes, BET’s “The Game” from Mara Brock Akil, is coming to an end after the conclusion of seasons eight and nine, which are being taped now to air in early 2015.
Here’s the official BET statement:
“All good things must come to an end and after celebrating four successful seasons of “The Game” on BET, the Network has announced production is underway on the show’s final two seasons. In January 2011 the cult following of The Game proved that the show was a fan favorite with 7.7 million viewers for its premiere debut on BET. With seasons eight and nine, we’re excited to end on a high note by giving Sabers fans a chance to bid farewell to their favorite players on and off the field.”
But the show was doing well, so why end it? Here’s what Brock Akil had to say in an interview with BET:
What made you decide that seasons eight and nine would be the last for “The Game?”
Shows do end; that is a part the business. I’m very happy BET gave The Game five additional seasons to explore these characters and this world. We made history when we got to the network and it’s nice to be able to celebrate the great achievements of the show.
Looking back, is there any storyline that you would have changed?
No, I don’t live in that place. I don’t regret anything that we’ve done.
What is the legacy that you hope “The Game” will leave behind to its audience?
I’m really proud of the look of our show, that we took a multi-cam budget and turned it into a single camera show. Its look, its tone, its approach, the characters’ development — that, yes, we were a half-hour comedy but we used our moments to deepen the characters. We also offered drama in a half-hour space. And that was my own personal desire, but it was also reflective of what the audience has been wanting, which is more well-rounded, deeper, richer, layered characters, and they got that in “The Game.”
I believe The Game and the richness of the characters, including building off of Girlfriends back when, has contributed to the conversation of where we are today in media, both in television and film as it relates to what we demand and what we want from characters that look like us, and stories that look like us.
Well it lasted along time amongst African American TV shows. BET drew it out as long as they could. But the truth is how long does a story line stay interesting. They lost me after the split of Melony and Darwin. And you know how many seasons that was ago. After that I just wasn’t interested they ruined the dramatic romance of the two lead characters to me. Everybody can’t be the Young and the Restless, hell I don’t know how people watch those shows for years upon top of years. All I can say is good luck to the cast in their future endeavors.

Amber Rose took to Twitter yesterday to share her sorrow following her split from Wiz Khalifa.
Rose filed for divorce on Sept. 24. Since then, both have been accused of cheating.
The two have a 1-year-old son, Sebastian.
Poor Amber Rose! I’m sure she’ll find her a new high profile Boo soon. Hell I hear Nick Cannons available LOL! Oh wait he may be above her pay grade. Any way we all know that break ups are hard, celebrity or not. If they both were cheating then what can you expect. After that trust is gone it all goes down hill from there. The person I feel the most compassion for in the situation is their son. He’s young enough that he will never remember the good times when his Mommie and Daddy were together and all was good.Children too many times get caught up our drama as adults. I feel sorry for the baby.
Tamar Drops New Single ‘Let Me Know’
Tamar Braxton has literally cornered television – with one show in daytime…and two more in primetime.
Beginning this week, however, she is squeezing in a return to her musical roots with the release of “Let Me Know,” the first single from her forthcoming as-yet-untitled album.
Rapper Future is featured on the hook, which borrows from Aaliyah’s 90s hit “At Your Best (You Are Love)” and has the singer basically telling her man…’I got your back.’
“We’ve been through so many things, ups and down and in betweens / If you need more love from me, I’ll give you more, just let me know,” Tamar sings.
No word yet if the single will be heard on the forthcoming season of WEtv’s Tamar & Vince, which begins Oct. 23 at 10 p.m. …a week after the season finale of Braxton Family Values, also starring Tamar along with her sisters Toni, Towanda, Trina and Traci.
Also, no word if Tamar will promote the single on her nationally-syndicated daytime gig The Real, which she co-hosts alongside Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon.

Now honestly I AM NOT a fan of Tamar Braxton. I feel that she is a very fake and untalented person. Sorry to offend. However I do think this new song is decent because of Future. I am a fan of hit cheating butt. Take a listen and let me know what y’all think.
ALFONSO RIBIERO DOES ‘THE CARLTON’ ON DWTS… AND IT’S AWESOME
You knew it would come at some point during the season.
Alfonso Ribeiro, the original Tap Dance Kid, finally hit us with The Carlton during his jazz routine Monday night on Dancing With the Stars. And of course, it was to Carlton’s favorite song, “She’s So Unusual” by Tom Jones.
“I was pigeonholed as an actor based on that character,” Ribeiro said of his Fresh Prince of Bel Aircharacter Carlton Banks in his video package before the routine. The actor said he “fell out of love” with his most famous role as a result, but has since learned to embrace Carlton and his signature dance.
“I love how it makes people feel. I love the fact that people have this nostalgic look at that dance,” he said. “My No. 1 goal this week is to please the fans and to give America what I feel they’ve been asking for since the beginning of this show: The Carlton.”
Turns out, The Carlton was as popular with the judges as it was with Fresh Prince fans. The dance scored a perfect 40 from the judges.
All I can say is that Carlton KILLED it! It’s no wonder that they got all 10s across the board. As I watched this video I smiled from ear to ear. Noone can dispute the excellent job they did. Even his dance partner was working it on out. Even though she didn’t compare to the suaveness of Alfonso during this performance she was trying and you could tell.
Kimora Lee Simmons is allegedly pregnant with her fourth child, but this time by her third husband, Tim Lessiner.
Congratulations are in order — if the rumors are true — to the couple. This will be their first child together.
Her first two children — Ming (14) & Aoki (12) – were fathered by ex-husband Russell Simmons and her son Kenzo (5) was fathered by actor Djimon Hounsou.
Rumor has it Kimora Lee Simmons is four months ago in her pregnancy, and the baby is expected in the spring of 2015.
As for her husband, Lessiner does investment work in Southeast Asia and is co-president of Goldman Sachs Singapore.
Allegedly, the couple can’t keep their hands off of each other after being spotted out in their car, in the late spring, which could’ve led to her pregnancy.
This ole girl is gonna keep her a bun in the over to make sure she is gettin paid in the end. I bet she gets some pretty nifty support checks from Russell and Djimon.Not to mention what ever alimony or whatever other types of payments she has gotten from these men over the years. Quickest way to get rich…have a baby by a rich man. You go girl! Very smart. Congratulations to the happy couple.LOL!
